Shwayze took over Farmingdale, NY on Tuesday night, October 7th.  Check out a live report from the show:

”   On Tuesday night Clubloaded.com presents Shwayze live at the Crazy Donkey and it was insane as the boys from Cali invaded Long Island!  The club was packed and by showtime 47 pieces of the CD had been sold for the Buy’n’Meet after the show!

When the boys of Shwayze hit the stage the crowd was so loud I had to go to the back of the club, those girls screams were ear piercing!  “What’s up Long Island”, “Are you ready to get f_ _ _ _ed up or what”! Yelled Cisco and it was on!  Shwayze had everybody singing along to not just the singles but album cuts; such as, “James Brown Is Dead”, “Poloaroid” and “Mary Jane”!  By the time they got to “Corona and Lime” and “Buzzin” the crowd was going bananas; they were stage driving, crowd surfing, girls were doing things my daughter will not be allowed to do!  So basically it was an exciting time at the Donkey!

After their set Shwayze and opening act Tyga signed autographs for about 40-50 fans.  Each of the crew hugged and gave pounds (handshakes) to fans and signed booklets, t-shirts, body parts, etc.  After it was all said and done Shwayze and Long Island went home pleased. Thanks to Frank Molinaro from the Cop Shop and David Brown for coming out to support Shwayze at the show and helping me with the line for the buy’n’meet.

So…

This is my first Suretone blog entry. I’ve been interning here for a bit more than a month now [or so]. A lot has been going on here. The office is a buzz over Shwayze’s new reality series on MTV, “Buzzin‘,” which premiered last week, and aired its latest episode last night. As of late, work around the office has primarily consisted on getting the word out online about Shwayze, spreading the word of his new reality show and his upcoming album release. About “Buzzin‘,” I don’t really watch a lot of reality television, but actually find the show to be very entertaining. I’m not sure if that’s because I know people on the show or not, or wondering how Shwayze’s gonna get out of this one, but I personally find it enjoyable.

I will try and keep things brief today because things are crazy around the office!

First and foremost Shwayze’s debut album is in stores today! The album is currently #2 on the iTUNES album chart. Head over to iTUNES and pick up the album today. Let’s drive it all the way to #1!!!

Ok so I was talking to Gillian and Cat today about my painful blisters.

For the past few days I’ve been wearing ballet flats for the past three days and I’ve gotten a total of 5 blisters. They hurt so bad!!! So today (Thursday) I have decided to wear Havaianas! And I am so much more comfortable. I just gotta say, when your running around in the Suretone offices, you’ve gotta wear comfortable footwear.

Now, enough about my blisters. Let’s talk about music.

Ok so while we’re interning we like to play Jonas Brothers, woo hoo! Or Girltalk. But mostly SHWAYZE!!! I love the new single Corona&Lime.

Hey Everybody!
Yesterday all of the interns followed Shwayze and Cisco to Jimmy Kimmel. But on the way there we got hungry and stopped at The Rosevelt for burgers at “26 degrees”. The burgers were amazing but the fries were better. I got a veggie burger and it was sooooo good! : ) After burgers we went to Jimmy Kimmel to watch Shwayze play. He was incredible and it was a really fun show. Then we all went to the Roxy to see them preform. They didn’t come on until about 10:30 and when they did, I was blown away. They definitely surpassed all my expectations and left me wanting more. I think it is safe to say the entire audience was completely captivated. I especially loved when Cisco and Shwayze sang “Hollywood” because you could tell they are genuinely passionate about what they do. I can’t wait for the next show!!!
