Shwayze took over Farmingdale, NY on Tuesday night, October 7th. Check out a live report from the show:
” On Tuesday night Clubloaded.com presents Shwayze live at the Crazy Donkey and it was insane as the boys from Cali invaded Long Island! The club was packed and by showtime 47 pieces of the CD had been sold for the Buy’n’Meet after the show!
When the boys of Shwayze hit the stage the crowd was so loud I had to go to the back of the club, those girls screams were ear piercing! “What’s up Long Island”, “Are you ready to get f_ _ _ _ed up or what”! Yelled Cisco and it was on! Shwayze had everybody singing along to not just the singles but album cuts; such as, “James Brown Is Dead”, “Poloaroid” and “Mary Jane”! By the time they got to “Corona and Lime” and “Buzzin” the crowd was going bananas; they were stage driving, crowd surfing, girls were doing things my daughter will not be allowed to do! So basically it was an exciting time at the Donkey!

After their set Shwayze and opening act Tyga signed autographs for about 40-50 fans. Each of the crew hugged and gave pounds (handshakes) to fans and signed booklets, t-shirts, body parts, etc. After it was all said and done Shwayze and Long Island went home pleased. Thanks to Frank Molinaro from the Cop Shop and David Brown for coming out to support Shwayze at the show and helping me with the line for the buy’n’meet.

A message from Shwayze:
“We have decided to pull off of METROSTATION tour. We wish METRO the best and are very sorry if any of you already bought tickets to the shows to see us. The decision is strictly due to scheduling and timing and we had no choice. We will be posting up new tour dates as soon as we can and we promise we will be making it to see you guys wherever you are very soon. Stay tuned…we love you. In the meantime crack open a Corona and Lime and turn up the music…summer never ends.”

Well we just have a couple of shows left on this One Republic tour, Bristol and Birmingham. I can honestly say the response on this tour has been amazing, the best we have had. It has been great coming outside after the shows and getting to meet everyone, we really appreciate people taking the time.
Aside from the tyre blowout we had on the motorway before the Manchester show things have been very smooth, If we had been going a bit faster in an outer lane, things could have been bad, but we eventually got to Manchester safe and sound and had a great show, lets just say we felt like the luckiest band alive that day. All of the One Republic guys have been great, as a singer, watching Ryan do his stuff every night is inspiring, does get me questioning my own ability though! All of the crew have been great too, also you should check out the other band that are on the road with us, they’re called ‘A Silent Film’ very cool guys, very cool songs.
We have been keeping day to day video diaries on this tour which we will post when we get home, also taking plenty of photos.
Quick thanks to everyone at BBC Radio Solent for having us on the show in Southampton, and to Jade who interviewed us before the Manchester show.
So its a shame its almost over, but all good things. Hopefully the final shows will be as great as the rest, im sure they will be, speak to you soon. DW
