Founded by Jordan Schur in 2006, Suretone Entertainment encompasses Suretone Records, Suretone Pictures, Mimran Schur Pictures, and Suretone Management. This independent full-service entertainment company has consistently impacted culture in music, film, and television.

Schur co-founded Mimran Schur Pictures in 2007, producing the awe-inspiring Warrior [Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton, Nick Nolte]—directed by the acclaimed Gavin O’Connor, which led to an Academy® Award nomination for Nolte, as well as the highly respected Stone [Robert De Niro, Edward Norton, Milla Jovovich], the comedy gem Henry’s Crime [Keanu Reeves, Vera Farmiga, James Caan], and the cult classic Rapturepalooza [Anna Kendrick, Craig Robinson], and in partnership with Sony Pictures Holmes & Watson [Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly]. The in-demandproperty action/thriller Five Against A Bullet, is currently in development. 

Schur has as well achieved global success throughout his storied career in the music industry. In 1996, Schur founded Flip Records, home of iconic rock acts such as Limp Bizkit, Staind, Cold, among others where he drove 100M in Album sales worldwide. Schur joined Geffen Records in 1999 as President and relaunched the label to new heights. In 2003, Schur additionally was asked to merge and take on the operations of MCA Records. The newly enlarged Geffen artist roster included some of the world’s most legendary artists amongst them Snoop Dogg, Nirvana, Guns and Roses, Beck, Blink 182, Mary J. Blige, Hole, Enrique Inglesias, Counting Crows, Weezer, Nelly Furtado, Peter Gabriel, Rob Zombie, Sigur Ros, Sonic Youth, The Roots, along with many others. Under his oversight, the broadened Geffen achieved over $2 billion in revenue while becoming a consistent global market share leader for Universal Music Group. 

Suretone Records catalog spans releases by the likes of The Cure, Chris Cornell, Shwayze, New Found Glory, The Black Angels, Collective Soul, From First To Last, and Angels & Airwaves as well as current roster artists Limp Bizkit, DED, Sayyi and more. Through its distributor ADA Worldwide, the label also notably released ZZ Top’s Live – Greatest Hits From Around The World, along with Santana’s Africa Speaks, which landed #3 on The New YorkTimes Best Albums list of 2019. 

Schur is active in other industries as he has recently accepted a leadership role in the publicly traded company Safety Shot (Nasdaq: SHOT) where he and his family made a significant investment, as well as his family real estate business Jordan Realty, which houses a portfolio of properties based in NYC and as well remains a committed philanthropist, supporting organizations such as Baby2Baby, Art of Elysium Foundation, among many others along with his previous years long tenure in Co-Chairmanship with Woody Johnson’s LupusResearch Alliance.
